One impact affecting New Carlisle's budget would be the effect it would have on our city and real estate taxes. Our council and management has been proactive in holding down costs of operation. School, City and Federal Government feel the impact of current budget cuts and the need to conserve. I believe my many years on various boards will help in understanding and planning for future needs. Times have definitely changed, our present Council and Administration have made changes to meet the needs of the City and their citizens and we need to continue. I will rely on their experience and also that of the citizens.
