I would like to organize a regional planning and development committee for the townships and city. It could be members of Fire and EMS, township trustees or city representative, school board member, and residents. This committee could discuss current and future needs for communication, and foster better relationships between the schools, government, and residents. Also, plan future development like utilities such as gas, sewers, and better traffic systems.

With volunteer Fire/EMS departments, agreements on sharing training opportunites, and joint call out agreements are vital to maintaining costs while insuring adequate coverage to the township. Active participation in the Buter County and Ohio Township Associations will help assure that concerns of Ohio’s townships are heard at the state level. Active dialogue should be maintained with the Oxford City in mutual interest concerns such as reviews of an Oxford 27 bypass.
