In addition to Calamityville, what would you do as a member of council to assure that the City of Fairborn is successful in attracting its fair share of BRAC related businesses and also market Fairborn as the place to live for those BRAC related employees?

I would continue our strong relationship with the Dayton Development Coaliton (the link between WPAFB and BRAC-related businesses) to insure that Fairborn's deveopment opportunities are highlighted. I would initiate a coordinated, strategic economic development action plan with community stakeholders (Chamber, FCS, DFBA, CIC, developers) to achieve success in attracting BRAC-related businesses. I would maximize marketing dollars to promote Fairborn's top-notch website and community newsletter to showcase city amenities to potential residents.

As a City councilman for the past six years, I have advocated for all projects that were beneficial to the Fairborn community. My involvement with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and the Greene County Regional Planning Commission allows me the opportunity to be an informed supporter for Fairborn. Additinally, being a BRAC Community Pride Ambassador provides me advance insight into the BRAC process so I can anticipate the needs of prospective BRAC employees.
