What is the biggest challenge facing the Village of Cedarville and what plans do you have to address that challenge?

To maintain and promote economic growth in the community. This involves listening to the local business owners and having an openiness to facilitate changes that consider their needs and that of the community. Also, maintain an openiness to any new businesses that may consider coming to Cedarville. We also need to address some of the zoning requirements in the newly revised zoning ordinances. Enforcement and consistency are important. I will support these efforts.

What is the biggest challenge facing the Village of Cedarville and what plans do you have to address that challenge?

I see the biggest challenge facing the Village of Cedarville is providing a new or improved location for the Cedarville Police Department. The existing Police Station is crowded and needs many security and technology updates. I feel Cedarville needs a centrally located Police Station. I plan to work with the police department, the police chief and the Village Council to provide the best solution.

What is the biggest challenge facing the Village of Cedarville and what plans do you have to address that challenge?

I moved to Creekside Condominiums a year ago and began attending the council meetings. I've been very impressed with their efficiency and teamwork. I decided to run for council because I want to be a part of this dynamic group. In this economy, the biggest challenge is the budget. As a councilman, I will look for ways to cut operating expenses while maintaining the great village services and planning for future growth without raising taxes.
