| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Sugarcreek Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? | ||
Annexation of land our valuable tax base. I support limited home rule township government. This would give us more equality in dealing with cities. We are updating our zoning to protect open spaces and scenic areas. We need creative sustainable residential development and high-paying, job generating commercial development along Clyo Road. This could help reduce our tax burden. I fully understnd how to minimize the threat of annexation and preserve the feel of community we all have.

| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Sugarcreek Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? | ||
The biggest challenge is that of the continued threat of annexation by neighboring cities/municipalities. Sugarcreek Township is unique in that is has many prime undeveloped areas that will continue to be scrutinized by eager developers and communities looking to expand upon their current boundaries. We must plan for an increase in commercial growth which will aid in the formation of potential new revenues decreasing the tax burden on residents. We need to ensure that commercial development takes place on our terms, not theirs.

| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Sugarcreek Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? | ||
Many issues face the township; annexation pressures, the merger study, high taxes, but the most challenging is the indifference from Trustees to your opinion. It's unacceptable for the Limited Home Rule issue to be on the ballot without giving residents ample opportunity to discuss it first. I will insist on frequent communication with you through public meetings and email exhanges. I will encourage diverse points of view. I will be your voice in our Township.

| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Sugarcreek Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? | ||
Stop annexation while managing growth and keeping taxes down. High density development adds more burden to the Schools, Fire, Police, Roads, thus increasing taxes. We must be proactive and flexible with developers and landowners to keep them in the Township, but stand on the guidelines for sensible controlled development and preservation of our scenic resources. It takes compromise on all sides. I am the common sense voice fore the residents and I work for their best interests.

| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Sugarcreek Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? | ||
I will work hard to implement a Joint Economic District (JED) for the township saving thousands of tax dollars and stop annexation threats. A JED with a city is common practice throughout Ohio. There's no additional cost to the township residents and overall reduces our tax burden. Our current trustees refused to look at such alternatives. I will work with the department administrators to find ways of reducing cost without reducing services to our citizens.
