I believe City Council can play a major role in economic development. I contend that councils first priority should be working with our present business to retain and expand said business. Secondly, I believe that council shoudld pursue bringing in new business working with XEGC and Community Development.

The Council can play an active role in support of the efforts of the Xenia Economic Growth Corporation in securing grants that will attract businesses, serve as ambassadors to recruit businesses and promote the positive aspects of the City of Hospitality, such as, but not limited to: State rated "Excellent Schools" in Xenia, educated work force, affordable housing, friendly neighborhoods and contiguous universities.
