This is a time for micro-management of all sources of income and all expenditures, diligently monitoring changes. Trustees need to be aware of all grants and funding available to assure commercial and residential areas are maintained in a manner that attracts and retains investors. Attracting new business requires residents who support them which requires a crime-free environment for employees and residents. their office needs to be the HUB of information-always available to assist residents and businesses.

I would concentrate on keeping our present township services effective and efficient. Monitoring expenditures and working within the budget will give our residents the services they deserve and expect from their elected officials. My main goal is to encourage new growth through providing a good business and family friendly community. So far in this challenging economical climate, we have been able to maintain the same number of staff to ensure continued quality services for everyone.

The recent economic woes have affected Montgomery County the past years; this has affected every City, Township and Village. However, the leadership of Harrison Township has responded in positive ways by staying connected to our citizens. There have never been any layoffs or cuts in services. Harrison Township’s Financial situation is stable and there are no foreseen cuts or layoffs. The Trustees of Harrison Township took economic action four years ago to assure stability.

| An education advocate, my 30-year family and community commitment offer experience as: professionally-licensed real estate agent and residential appraiser, Caserta Appraisal Services entrepreneur, and Harrison Township Business Association Secretary. | How are the Regional economic woes affecting Harrison Township and what proactive positions should Trustee’s be making to secure the Township budget for the future? | ||
Economic disparities affect our communities; Unemployment, vibrant-stickers on abandoned homes, and businesses exchanged with Food pantries. Insolvencies commiserate with lost commerce. Consequently, budget deficits deflate “the provision raft”. As Trustee, practicum is achieved through prioritization. Merely, introduce budget opportunity and eliminate inefficiency: reestablish infrastructure via security for business districts, restore scholastic excellence for all-aged students, and stabilize home values. If elected, my experience as appraiser, realtor and businesswoman will use these factions to fuel solution.
