The elected officials must place citizens' needs at the top of any budget consideration or political agenda. Because of the huge population of seniors in the Trotwood community, the need for EMS and fire safety is essential to maintain the high quality of life that each citizen has grown accustom and deserves while visiting or residing in our City. | What impact will failure of any of the service levies this fall have on Trotwood’s overall budget and what proactive measures should the council be making to assure that essential services continue for Trotwood residents?
There must be broader discussions among Miami Valley municipalities addressing the rising costs of Fire/EMS and road maintenance services. It is crucial that Trotwood residents be honestly informed of the positive and negative impact of their votes. Passage will allow us to begin stabilizing Trotwood’s infrastructure and insuring Fire/EMS safety. Failure will result in reduced Fire/EMS services, placing additional strain on communities providing mutual assistance. The current budget will be unable to maintain essential services.
