What impact will the failure of any of the service levies this fall have on Trotwood’s overall budget, and what proactive measures should the Council be making to assure that essential services continue for Trotwood residents?

Failure of any the levies will necessitate far-reaching cuts in service which we have tried to avoid. With a $500,000 budget deficit from the loss of income and real estate tax revenues, we must seek additional funds through levies. Without their passage, funds will not be available for matching monies for street improvements and/or economic development. Emergency equipment is sorely in need of replacement. Council must inform citizens of these needs, and the cost annually. Vote yes.

Failure of the Trotwood levies, which are service related, will be detrimental to the quality of services citizens should expect in their community. As a proactive measure Trotwood leaders should set priorities to ensure that all essintial serivces will be available to it's citizens.
