| If the recession continues, what impact will that have on Huber Heights’s budget and what proactive measures should the council be making to assure that essential services continue for Huber Heights residents? | ||
If the recession continues it will definitely have a negative impact on budgets that are already deeply cut. I don't think City Council possesses all the answers that will enable them to avoid conventional solutions such as tax increases and further budget cuts. Council will need to think outside the box and call upon the input from its citizens and businesses for creative and fresh ideas to grow our community and help our businesses thrive.

| If the recession continues, what impact will that have on Huber Heights’s budget and what proactive measures should the council be making to assure that essential services continue for Huber Heights residents? | ||
A continued recession would force the city to find inefficiencies in spending that will enable us to control costs and preserve funds for the essential services that afford our citizens quality of life. Whether we face recession or expansion, the council should always be forward thinking and looking for opportunities for growth and new revenues while monitoring the city's priorities of keeping our community safe and desirable for our residents and businesses.
