| What would you name as the biggest challenge for Harlan Township and what solutions would you as trustee suggest to meet that challenge? |
The challenge: Anticipating and addressing the upcoming lack of revenue. Our national economy has suffered a blow the effects of which will soon be felt on a local level. When combined with the current lack of transparency in our local government tough times will follow. The solution: Communcation. Implementing a website where citizens can address concerns, view ongoing projects and review financials will allow the taxpayers to hold the township accountable for every penny spent. |
