Cooperation ensures that needs of health, safety, and the control of development are met so the Township remains a great place to live. First, Trustees should attend Township Association meetings. Second, Trustees should revive the Regional Coalition. These meetings bring together neighboring communities, build relationships, give a voice in neighboring projects, and a common vision among the rural townships. Third, I will publish a newsletter or website so residents/Townships know what the Trustees are doing.

Utilizes a North West Regional Alliance which has representatives from local governments. I was impressed when the city of Oxford updated there Land Use Plan. They invited the public and local officials to workshops, and public presentations and asked the public for input. Invite the public and local officials to semiannual sponsored charity events. These could be rotated between each locality to showcase your local government’s role in the community and region.
