What is the biggest challenge facing Newberry Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge?

Funding the necessary programs is our biggest concern. We are preparing for the winter by getting our salt and grit bins full and keeping our equipment, not purchasing new. We are discussing ways we can save money and making sure ot prioritize all necessary expenses.

In these tough economic times, it would definitely be balancing the budget and trying to maintain all of the existing services provided the residents of the township. I would be diligent in staying within our budget and work with the residents in everyway I could to maintain our present status.
