Having previously served five years as Economic Development Director for the City of Piqua, I am keenly aware of the importance of Economic Development to the financial well being of our City. Therefore I would see this as a top priority for me and would wholeheartedly support our current Director, and when called upon would use my previous experience in that area to help recruit business and industry to our community in whatever way possible.

As Mayor, I will promote Piqua: We have 20% lower electric rates, many small supportive industrial shops, and an expereinced work force. Our public schools have the highest rating. We have wonderful parochial schools, Upper Valley JVS, Edison State Community College, a 13+ mile Linear Park, indoor mall, and new movie theater. Our award winning downtown features the restored Fort Piqua Plaza, housing a new library, ballroom/banquet rooms, Winan's coffee/candy, and ToonPWiggins restaurant.
