| What is the biggest challenge facing Bethel Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
I, like the majority of Bethel Township residents, love our charming county community, yet the proposed Development Plan envisions centralized sewer, condominiums. townhouses, lots of retail and commercial buildings within the township. Page 37 of the proposed Development Plan states that a portion of Bethel Township should "mirror" Huber Heights; the majority of Bethel residents don't want to become a mini-Huber Heights. As your trustee I will preserve and protect our township.

| What is the biggest challenge facing Bethel Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
The challenge is two-fold: Plans to develop the township, and the existing contract to run sewer as far north as 571. Availability of centralized sewer is essential for intensive development to occur. Development will add revenue to the township's coffers, but it will undermine our tranquil rural way of life. Solution: Protect the township by rejecting the proposesd Development Plan and challenge the legality of mandating sewer and water where there is no evidence of need.

| What is the biggest challenge facing Bethel Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
One of the greatest challenges for Bethel Township is how to effectively manage change within our township. To solve this, we need to continually evaluate our Land Use Plan, explore and implement the different tools we have to fight annexation and look for ways to retain our open space and rural feel. If we don't successfully control our own destiny, others will be happy to do it for us.

| What is the biggest challenge facing Bethel Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
Undeveloped land in the township has been targeted for annexation, if the township is not proactive in addressing property owners desires to exercise their property rights, we will continue to experience both loss of land and tax base. The township trustees have managed the levy monies supported by our constituents in a fiscally prudent manner. I pledge to continue policy decisions that will position the township to preserve our boundaries, lifestyle, and tax base.
