I have lived in Rush Township my entire life. I was in education and farmed part time prior to farming filltime. Fredda and I have been married thirty two years and have three grown children.
Name one specific township issue you would like to work on, if elected as a trustee, and tell why that issue is important to you and township residents.

The issue that affects all aspects of any government is financial stability. Rush Township has maintained a conservative approach to supplying the best service possible with the funds available. With help from dedicated employees we have stayed financially sound maintaining a reserve for unexpected emergencies. We have experienced unprecedented cost increases followed by economic stress in most segments of the public sector. Government must redouble our efforts to be more efficient.

Name one specific township issue you would like to work on, if elected as a trustee, and tell why that issue is important to you and township residents.

The issue that I would like to continue to work on is the Fire Board. It is important to me and the residents of Rush Township to continue to provide our excellent Fire and EMS protection. I would like to see the new fire station built, but not at any cost. We must make sure the end result is affordable, without putting an extra burden on the great people fo Rush Township and our communities.
