I am a High School Graduate, Army Veteran, member of Post 176 American Legion and the VFW. I have operated Sprague's Service Station for 46 years. Jean my wife of 58 years and I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
What is the biggest challenge facing Madison Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge?

The biggest challenge is continued successful operation of Madison Township in these tougher economic times. Taxpayer money must be used wisely. My long time experience as Trustee allows me a familiarity with proven methods for putting Madison Township Resident's tax dollar to work for them.

What is the biggest challenge facing Madison Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge?

To continue to provide and improve the quality of services for Fire/EMS, and maintaining and improving our township roads within our current budget. I plan to continue working with Chief Clark and our Fire/EMS departments to provide quality service with the most efficient use of our tax dollars. To continue applying for grant money (in the past we have received grant money for Fire/EMS equipment, apparatus and road improvements.) Continue to utilize LCI community services work program.

I am a graduate of Southeastern High School, Clark State Paramedic Program and the Ohio Fire Academy. I am currently employed by the Springfield Fire/Rescue Division as a firefighter/paramedic and by Clark State College as a state certified Fire Instructor.
What is the biggest challenge facing Madison Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge?

I believe that the biggest challenge is the limited amount of funds that the twp. has to work with. There are always projects that need to be done, but with limited funds each project needs to be prioritized. If elected I would like to find some alternative ways to generate funds for the township as well as eliminate some wasteful spending. I believe that it’s time for new faces and new ideas.
