The biggest challenge facing Mad River Township will be budgetary and financial planning for the upkeep of Township roads, cemeteries, and properties as well as maintaining a high quality of emergency services. Financial restraints on township residents are a concern. We have recently been successful in obtaining grant funding and will continue to seek more to supplement our local sources of revenue. Effective communication about these issues will be important for future planning. Thank you.

Our township must become more cost conscious. In today's economy, we need to plan adequately to prevent future levies. I will work to keep expenditures within budget and cost effective. We must all work together for the community, and I will bring a spirit of cooperation and common purpose that is vital within government. As every township citizen is entitled to fair, prompt and respectful representation, I will be very accessible. These are my goals.

| What is the biggest challenge facing Mad River Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
The biggest challenge facing Mad River Township in the near future is how to provide needed township services and maintain the roads and infrastructure on a constrained budget. No one alone can fix this problem; however, with my background as a self-employed small businessman, I will do my best to see that township resources are allocated as to best meet the needs of fellow township residents.

| What is the biggest challenge facing Mad River Township and what plans do you have for solving that challenge? | ||
In my opinion, the major challenge is the budget, which includes funding for the fire department, EMS, roads, and cemeteries. During my tenture, township residents have expressed to me their concerns for the infrastructure, specifically the roads. we are currently in the process of acquiring additional grants to address these issues. I feel that my professional and business backgound has given me the knowledge to deal with these issues in these difficult times.
