Beer Fest
Photos from the first annual Miami Valley Beer Fest held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds which featured a wide selection of craft beers and barley wines, many rare. Organizer Schwartz of Belmont Party Supply, who, with his wife Donna and his store staff, teamed up with the Resident Home Association to present the event. Proceeds will benefit Residential Home Association.

Remembering Michael Jackson
Thousands of fans of Michael Jackson, who died June 25, gathered for a memorial service at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles to be held on Tuesday, July 7. More than 1.6 million people registered for free tickets to the 10 a.m. memorial, which will be broadcast live worldwide. A total of 8,750 people were chosen to receive two tickets each.

Blondes we'd love to see in a musical
Since Broadway is humming despite the economy, we have some ideas about other movies featuring blondes that would make viable stage musicals. In order of difficulty (based on the complexity of the project, with no-brainers first) here are some titles that could step from screen to stage if backers could be convinced to pony up about $15 million to make it happen.
