The Little Exchange Holiday Open House on Park Ave. in Oakwood opened for the season on Sunday, Nov. 1 for shoppers looking for a large selection of holiday gifts and decorations. All proceeds from The Little Exchange benefit Dayton Children's Hospital.

A million plus lights are on display at the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in Hamilton for this year's light show, which opened Friday night, November 20. The display, which took about 7 weeks to prepare for, features lighting displays covering over a hundred acres of land. The light show has been voted the best show in the Tri-state for the past 4 years and runs from Nov. 20th - Jan 1.

Students at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Kettering held a Thanksgiving program on Tuesday, Nov. 25. This is the fifth year kindergarten teacher Christy Montavon has held the program which includes the students telling the story of the first Thanksgiving.

The City of Oakwood held its Holiday of Lights Festival Sunday evening, December 14, at Shafor Park with the main event being the lighting of the holiday tree. Luminaria lined streets, Oakwood High School band played holiday tunes and the Mini Pops entertained the crowd.
