Hal McCoy baseball clinic in Dayton
The Hal McCoy baseball clinic held Saturday, Oct. 3, at Fifth Third Field in Dayton matched players and coaches from Sinclair Community College, the University of Dayton and Wright State University with youths from 7 to 13 years old. It was a fundraiser for Building Bridges, a local nonprofit that helps at risk kids.

Bowling with the Bombers
"Bowling with the Bombers" took place Sunday Feb. 22, 2009 at Beaver Vu Bowling Alley. The Event paired four fans with two hockey players for three hours of bowling, pizza and pop. The Dayton Bombardiers sponsor the event every year.

WSU grad crashes Stanley Cup finals
Centerville, WSU grad Ryan Kraft, a lifelong Penguins' fan, crashed the Pittsburgh Penguins celebration and snuck into their locker room after their 2009 Stanley Cup win. Kraft took pictures of himself with many players and officials, including his hero Mario Lemieux (the Penguins' owner), and even got a picture of him hoisting the Stanley Cup. Kraft still holds the record as leading scorer in Centerville High School hockey history.
