Nelson family benefit

Boston's and My Brother's Place Tavern, on N. Main St. and Dog Leg Rd., co-hosted a fund-raiser for the husband (Eddie) and 4-year-old son of Jennifer Nelson on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, starting at noon until closing at 2:30. Nelson is the 29-year-old Harrison Twp. mother whom police say was killed Jan. 2 by a Columbus man who had broken into her home. All proceeds from live and silent auction items, raffles and a $5 cover charge went to fund for the family, and each establishment will donate 10 percent of all net sales to the fund.
