2 accidents close I-75 southbound
Two separate accidents, the first accident causing the second, took place on I-75, southbound, near the Stanley Avenue exit. Six cars and one tractor trailer were involved. One person was taken to the hospital.

RiverScape planning changes
Instead of breaking ground, Five Rivers MetroParks ceremonially covered asphalt with soil on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, to mark the beginning of the next phase of construction at RiverScape in downtown Dayton. The third phase will add a permanent pavilion for concerts and festivals during warmer months and put the park's ice rink under roof during the winter. Also included in the $7.5 million project is a bike hub building.
