WDPS radio station gets new home

Blown fuse evacuates Kroger

The Kroger, 6480 Wilmington Pike, was evacuated and closed for about two hours Friday, July 17, after a fuse blew on a nearby power pole. The blown fuse caused a power surge to the air conditioning unit on top of the building, resulting in smoke in the store. Sugarcreek Twp. fire crews isolated the problem and Dayton Power & Light was called out. There were no damage or injuries to report.
