The Ohio's First Ladies Luncheon Meeting was held Wednesday Sept. 23, 2009 at the Engineers Club of Dayton. The meeting was attended by first lady Frances Strickland and former first lady Hope Taft. Proceeds from the luncheon will go to the Friends of the Ohio Governor's Residence and Heritage Garden.

A one car accident on I-675 North, at the 35 West ramp, slowed down morning traffic on Sept. 23, 2009. The gas tank, on a 1998 Ford F-150 truck, came off of the vehicle, spilling fuel on the road. There were no injuries or citations. Beavercreek Township firefighters responded along with Beavercreek police.
