Guests visited the Lebanon McDonald's on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, for the VIP reopening event. After three months of construction, the store opened for regular business at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Basically British - a specialty shop that imports British candies, foods, teas and gifts - has built a Tea Room in a space next door to the retail shop. Terry Ronald and Vicki Morris, partners in both the retail store and tea room, which opened on Tuesday, Sept. 1, will host afternoon teas where customers can enjoy dozens of teas and different baked goods and pastries.
