Rusty's Ride benefits children
motorcyclists gathered Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, for Rusty's Ride, a benefit hosted by Buckminn's Harley Davidson in Xenia. The ride honors Rusty Shearer III, a Harley owner and mechanic at Buckminn's, who was killed in 1991 after his motorcycle collided with a deer. Funds go to the Greene County Combined Health District's Christmas programs. The bikers traveled a 70-mile route, crossing of the Charleton Mill Road covered bridge, and a hog roast was
